I am from a place where people greet each other by saying peace be upon you(السلام عليكمalsalam ealaykum) and you reply saying and peace be upon you( وعليكم السلامwaealaykum alsalam) or whatsup(mambo) and you reply saying cool(pua).

I am from a place where the call for prayer is heard from a mosque.

I am from a place where I eat Samosa,Mandi,Biryani,Pilau(UK spelling) or Pilaf(Us spelling), mishkaki and Rambutan with my family.

I am from a place that used to be my home.

I am from a place that I used to live with my cousins, my grandfather(father’s side) and my grandmother(father’s side),who actually passed away 5 years ago,.

I am from a place where the colour green coming from the vegetation,blue coming from the indian ocean and the lakes,rivers and bays and yellow coming from the colour of the ground prevails.

I am from a place where it’s tropical, where it’s hot and most of the year is hot but is cooler in june but the hottest in january and where you can find coconuts,Pineapples and palm trees.

I am from the place where my parents came after living in Sana’a, Yemen for 17 years.

I am from a place where one of its cities is an arabic name Dar es Salaam(دار السلام) meaning harbor of peace.

I am from a place with memories I had when I was younger.

I am from a place I used to play with my friends when I was younger.
